Additional details
For the Creative Morning in March, we welcome siblings Anna and Lorenzo Pruneri, founders of the newly established creative practice Studio Scarì. After several years working abroad in different creative and communication fields, the two returned to their hometown of Venice and decided to build something together locally. Their studio brings together graphic design, storytelling and communication strategy, working closely with local initiatives and communities. Their work reflects a new generation choosing to invest creative energy back into the city, turning international experience into locally rooted projects.
The event takes place at Casa Michelotto Pastor, a remarkable home inside Palazzo Zacco, originally transformed in the 1960s by architects Valeriano Pastor and Michelina Michelotto into a domestic space in dialogue with the city. Today their grandchildren are opening this house to the public through a cultural association, turning a private place rich in architectural history, craftsmanship and everyday family memories into a space for sharing music, food and creative ideas with the community. Studio Scarì is developing the association’s visual identity, making the collaboration itself an example of how local creativity and heritage can generate new possibilities for Venice.
Breakfast is generously offered by DolCita, a community-driven biscuit project based in the Cita neighborhood of Marghera. The initiative brings together volunteers and people in vulnerable situations to produce artisanal biscuits using ingredients from local solidarity projects, such as eggs from the Cita-Pollaio and honey from the neighborhood apiary. More than a bakery, DolCita is a small ecosystem of care, inclusion and environmental awareness—another example of how local initiatives can nourish both community and creativity.
