I found that people were coming to the water for healing
For me getting into the water is a mindful practice
When I am in the water I feel safe, like my joints start to loosen I feel light and I don't feel pain anymore
Edinburgh is amazing, you don't have to plan a great long holiday, you can have micro-adventures right here
It's not for everybody going swimming in the sea or in any cold water but it's about doing something that challenges you and doing something that is out of your comfort zone
