About the speaker

Ann Zadeh, Executive Director of Community Design Fort Worth, has served our community in a variety of capacities. As a certified planning professional, and with a passion for bringing people together to tackle challenging issues, Ann has focused her talents and expertise on the types of projects that make Fort Worth an amazing place to call "home." Professionally, this takes the form of Planning Consultant, her years of service on the Fort Worth Zoning Commission, and subsequently the Fort Worth City Council. Personally, her passion can be seen in her labor and patronage for such projects as Near Southside’s Arts Goggle, NAMI Walk, The Taste Project and Tarrant County Homeless Coalition.

She acquired a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Policy and Planning from the University of California. She brought her talents to Fort Worth in 1992, when she completed her Masters degree in City and Regional Planning at the University of Texas at Arlington, and has been a committed and passionate advocate for the city and its people ever since. Her current role as Executive Director of Community Design Fort Worth allows her to work alongside a dedicated board of directors, design professionals and the community to educate and advocate for urban planning issues that impact the quality of life of residents of our great city.
