Aliaksandra Radkevich

Amoeba

part of a series on Movement

About the speaker

Aliaksandra Radkevich is a filmmaker, synchronised swimmer, dancer and a mermaid...yes, a mermaid!!!! 🧜‍ ♥️
She is also our #CMMovement speaker 🤸 💃

"Throughout my career as a TV journalist and years of being in a professional artistic swimming team, taking interviews with different prominent people and performing in underwater shows, I have extensively analysed how different types of movement give well-being, happiness and achievements to people all over the world...

I met a lot of inspiring people, for example Fedor Konyukhov, who became the second person to circumnavigate the world in a hybrid hot-air helium balloon, winners of Olympic Games, artists, circus performers and public figures who do incredible things... How did they do it? Why? In which way is movement involved? Where do they take inspiration from?

I have used different methods, knowledge and inspiration connected to the movement myself, practicing yoga, climbing, swimming, dancing, and other types of activities… and every time I still get surprised with the discoveries I make and can’t help wondering ‘Why did no one told me or showed me that before?!’

How to research the capabilities of your body? Why should we move and which activities can be done to improve well-being, group dynamics, be happier and reach results in our everyday lives? Let’s try to experiment and figure it out TOGETHER!” ✨

Creativity is collaborative: We’ll bring the coffee if you bring a cup! As a volunteer organisation we try to keep our work to a minimum - instead of washing up we’d much rather create events for all of you wonderful people, and disposable mugs are just too wasteful. ♥️☕
