ABDELRAHMAN ELSHAHED

Elshahed learned the art of calligraphy in the Holy Mosque of Makkah. Along with his interests in Art, he taught Arabic Calligraphy at the Holy Mosque of Makkah. He obtained a master’s degree in architecture 2021 from King Abdulaziz University. Calligraphy and Architecture are important communication tools in Elshahed’s contemporary artistic dialogue. He designed one of the largest calligraphy gates in the world, which was in Jeddah International Book Fair 2016 | KSA. His works have been acquired by many organizations and institutions such as: UNESCO in Paris, France, and Canadian Museum of Nature.

تعلم عبدالرحمن الشاهد فن الخط في المسجد الحرام بمكة المكرمة. إلى جانب اهتماماته بالفنون ، قام بتدريس الخط العربي في المسجد الحرام بمكة المكرمة. في عام 2021 حصل على درجة الماجستير في العمارة من جامعة الملك عبد العزيز. يعتبر الخط والعمارة من أدوات الاتصال المهمة في حوار الشاهد الفني المعاصر. قام بتصميم واحدة من أكبر بوابات الخط في العالم ، والتي كانت في معرض جدة الدولي للكتاب 2016 | السعودية. تم اقتناء أعماله من قبل العديد من المنظمات والمؤسسات مثل: اليونسكو في باريس ، فرنسا ، والمتحف الكندي للطبيعة.
