About this FieldTrip
Get your creative juices flowing this Friday morning with a photo walk hosted by Garrett Roth, moderator of the @igerssf account. Garrett frequently travels around Northern California, Oregon and Nevada, focusing on landscape and portrait photography outside of his 9-to-5, and uses the 500px and Instagram platforms to share his photography work. We’ll be taking a walk that incorporates the city skyline, Chinatown, North Beach, Washington Square Park and Coit Tower, while Garrett shares his experiences as a photographer and community leader.
We’ll meet at the entrance to Ina Coolbrith Park at Vallejo and Taylor, and end at Coit Tower. Anyone is welcome to stay a little longer for great shots of the city from atop Coit Tower, which opens at 10am. Our route can be found here. Text Alex (500px) at 415 769 8363 if you get lost!
