Elevating creativity

The leadership at Banfield wants to make creativity part of the agency’s culture. Just because they are a creative agency, it doesn’t mean that every employee perceives themselves as creative. To familiarize Banfield’s team with the creative process, and to help them feel empowered with their own creativity, we developed a full-day, seven hour workshop. Throughout the day, Banfielders learned about play, motivation, personality, flow, collaboration, and empathetic storytelling. Each theme began with a mini-lecture supplemented by a hands on activity and group discussion. We did a lot of free writing to become aware of biases and perceptions. Even though this type of writing brought up a lot of information at once, Banfielders put their whole heart into every prompt, and into every activity. They played, pushed their own boundaries, delved deep inside of their own minds, and respected one another throughout the entire process.
