I was separated, and now, I’m reconnecting and learning my roots. For me, the connection point was so strong because Standing Rock was a huge risk for me. I was like, ‘You know, I’m going to leave. I’m going to do this. I’m learning all of this.’ I’m like, ‘This is where I’m supposed to be. The Creator is supposed to have me in this space to learn in a way that’s going to be beneficial for my kids.
