About the speaker

Christiana “Xtiana” Roberson is an organizer, activist and the owner of Radicalized Brew, a Nashville based online cold brew coffee company inspired by protest-filled streets, rooted in community and held together by mutual aid.

Xtiana is one of dozens of protesters who occupied Legislative Plaza, calling it “The Peoples Plaza” for 62 days following the murder of George Floyd by Minneapolis police. The group called on Governor Lee to meet with them to discuss racial injustices and the removal of Confederate Monuments. During this time Xtiana gave speeches, organized direct actions and used her social media platforms as a means to spread information during the movement. The People’s Plaza held space for over two tumtulous months facing arrests, wrongful incarcerations and much push back from the general public.
