What are FieldTrips?
FieldTrips are meetups to interact, learn and collaborate in an effort to level-up your creative life. Built on top of our 20,000 monthly attendees at CreativeMornings talks, FieldTrips are community-organized events built on the spirit of generosity that has powered CreativeMornings events for the past 10 years.
We’re limiting these events to only 25 people, they’re like an intimate dinner party. Your absence will be felt so please make sure that you can definitely attend if you sign up. Also, we’re in the prototyping phase, so come with an open mind and be prepared for anything.
Thanks for participating! We’re lucky to have you.
Writeshop Wednesdays - accountable writing with strangers
March 27, 8:00am - 9:30am EDT. Hosted at Building on Bond
About this FieldTrip
An hour of concentrated writing time, surrounded by new friends, every Wednesday morning before work.
The format is:
+ 10 minutes: meet, greet, share what you are writing about
+ 40 minutes: quiet writing time with strangers
+ 10 minutes: share and reflect
In the past, attendees have worked on novels, grant applications, poetry, blog posts, reports, and everything in between. Writeshop Wednesdays was originally started in 2015 in Toronto by Kyle Baptista and is now actively running in several cities. Follow along at hashtag: #writeshopweds.
Purchasing a coffee or breakfast is requested but not required. We’ll be in the back room at Building on Bond and will start at 8am sharp so come a little early to get a coffee and get settled!
