About the speaker

The Wilderness at Your Doorstep with Laura Chávez Silverman
Laura Chávez Silverman helps people access the wild within and around them. As the founding naturalist of The Outside Institute, she teaches slow, intentional, and embodied ways of seeing and being in relation to the land, including foraging for edible and medicinal plants. Becoming native to a place, regardless of where you live, helps nurture an understanding of your connection (and responsibility) to not just the abstract notion of wilderness, but to the place you call home. Discover what it means to really live where you live, in touch with your true nature. Join us on June 17th to learn about the healing and transformative powers of the wild.
