About the speaker
Vladislav Iliev is the founder of Phormatik studio and co-founder of Videnie — Sofia's immersive art space. He holds a degree in Stage and Film Design from NATFIZ (the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts) and has taught in the Digital Arts programme at the National Academy of Arts.
His practice sits at the crossroads of digital art, theatre, contemporary dance, and performance. As creative director of Phormatik studio, he has realised several solo exhibitions and projects, as well as collaborations with commercial productions.

This May, CreativeMornings Sofia invites you to a free breakfast talk at Videnie – one of Sofia’s most unique spaces for immersive art.
Our speaker Vladislav Iliev — founder of Phormatik studio and co-founder of Videnie — will take us through his creative practice at the intersection of digital art, theatre, contemporary dance, and performance.
His talk, “Creating with the Unknown — On the Digital, the Imagination, and Live Presence”, explores what it means to work with the unknown: how the digital, the imagination, and live presence come together in the act of making something entirely new.
Practical information This is a free event and all are welcome. Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis. Spaces are limited and we cannot extend capacity beyond the venue’s limit.
