Vicki Tan

Vicki Tan is a digital product designer based in San Francisco. She is currently design staff at Pinterest, and was previously at Spotify, Headspace, Lyft, and Google. Her specialty is blending behavioral science with design to create meaningful product experiences. Her debut illustrated book “Ask This Book a Question” (Penguin Random House, April 2025) teaches better decision-making through the lens of cognitive bias.

Using everyday examples from technology past and present, Vicki will explore how the block universe theory—where all moments exist simultaneously in four-dimensional spacetime––can transform our approach to design.
