About the speaker

Cosima Montavoci - Sunset Yogurt is a Venetian artist whose practice takes on an almost anthropological character, investigating human traces and the intimate dynamics that define our presence in the world. Through sculptures and installations, she explores the tensions between irony and tragedy, order and chaos, matter and identity, giving poetic form to what is fragile or forgotten.
A graduate of the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam, she has developed a language that weaves together contemporary art and craftsmanship, positioning the manual gesture as an act of knowledge and collective memory.
She is the founder of Sunset Yogurt, a memorabilia project in which the concepts behind her sculptures become wearable ornaments—contemporary jewelry that brings art beyond gallery walls and into public space. She is also a member of Mollified, an artist collective founded together with Lorenzo Passi.

Founded in 2021 between Bergamo and Venice, and now based in Venice, Objectini is an artistic project founded by Michela Salvi that uses jewelry design as a medium to capture spontaneous reactions and emotions in response to sensory, emotional, and energetic stimuli. Following a contemplative and empathetic approach, the project takes shape by observing the abstract forms of nature, which then evolve into hybrid and primordial artifacts.
Metals and stones merge harmoniously, becoming unique pieces reminiscent of amulets and fossils, intertwining with one another in spontaneous compositions. Through techniques such as lost-wax casting, pouring, and soldering, each creation becomes unique and unrepeatable, crystallizing a moment and an intention into a tangible and visible form.
Each piece is handmade by Michela.
The work currently takes place at Spazio Vivo, a shared studio with glass artist Huang XiaoZhe, in Venice.

Huang Xiaozhe (B. 1984, Beijing China) works and lives in Murano, Venice, Italy. To fulfil her passion for craft, she left her decade-long marketing management profession in the fashion and beauty industries, moved to Venice, and made a profound transformation into a full-time contemporary jewellery artist. She is currently experimenting with glass material using lamp-working technic and creating mixed-media glass & metal contemporary jewellery and objects in her atelier - Spazio Vivo in Venice. Her work is represented by OHMYBLUE Gallery (Venice), Object Beautiful Gallery (London) and The Closer Gallery (Beijing), and has been exhibited at industry-leading events such as Collect London, Munich Jewellery Week, New York Jewellery Week and GRASSIMESSE. She holds a graduate degree in Art Management from Bologna University. She received metalsmith training at Hong Kong Baptist University, Orafa Ambrosiana, Alchimia, and attended glass workshops with Lucio Bubacco, Simone Crestani, Alessia Fuga and Sibelle Yuksek.

Paperoowl is a creative workshop and shop dedicated to paper craftsmanship, which since September 2023 has found its permanent home at 821 Rio Marin in Venice, in the historic former premises of the Osteria ai Postali.
Drawing on a kaleidoscope of professional and personal experiences, Stefania Giannici creates jewelry, artistic miniature boxes depicting Venetian scenes, bookbinding and paper goods, and home decorations.
Paperoowl represents a life choice — one filled with color, passion, and as light as paper itself.
