About the speaker

Tudor-Stefan ROTARU is a certified cognitive-behavioral and Ericksonian psychotherapist with 9 years experience in practice. He is a member of the Romanian Psychologists’ College, and the Romanian Association of Clinical Hypnosis and Ericksonian Therapy.

Tudor is a metaphor of transit in the professional live, from being a valedictorian for the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences and for the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Sciences of UAIC, to being a PhD in psychology, a PhD student in philosophy and a lecturer in the Bioethics Department of the «Gr. T. Popa» University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Iași, to being a postgraduate in Research Ethics, with certification offered by the de Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

His research interests target various aspects of interpersonal interaction with a stake in health-related behaviors. His publications contain various articles and chapters about trust, LGBT issues, psychological aspect of patients with different disorders, case studies in psychotherapy.

Tudor identifies as non-binary and lives with his same-sex partner in Iași, Romania, the very city he was born in.
