TRUST with Hannah Yesmunt & Leigh Ann Cobb of saint andro

GRAM

part of a series on Trust

About the speaker

saint andro swimwear was conceived out of a need for more ethical, inclusive & gender-fluid options. Their first small batch collection was made in Los Angeles exploring themes of climate adaptation, fit-focused/comfort-first construction, sustainable practices, & as their name suggests: commitment to designing outside the traditional binary. The current passion-project-turned-business is run by two artists with day jobs, Hannah Yesmunt & Leigh Ann Cobb in Grand Rapids, MI.

Hannah and Leigh launched saint andro swimwear in the winter of 2023, which seems like an odd time to do so but they had a lot of trust in the concept. They’ve also put a lot of trust in their abilities, neither having done anything like it before. So far, it’s going really well.

Leigh is an internationally published commercial and editorial photographer based here in GR. Hannah is a queer-focused designer at the beginning of an exciting new career in fashion. Together they navigate full time jobs and creative passion-projects while building a fashion brand/company from the ground up.
