About the speaker
Tod Martin is president and chief executive of Unboundary, the Atlanta-based transformation design firm. Unboundary, which celebrates its 25th birthday in October of this year, was recently nominated for a Cooper Hewitt National Design Award for its work for companies including Accenture, The Coca-Cola Company, FedEx, IBM, Johnson & Johnson, Novartis, Polo Ralph Lauren, and Charles Schwab. The firm, which has deep roots in working with corporations, is also developing practice areas in education transformation, and working with non-profits/non-governmental agencies.
Tod joined Unboundary (then Executive Arts/EAI) in 1996 as a partner, became the firm’s president in 1999, and acquired the chief executive role in 2004. He’s a life-long learner of design, strategy and communications. Tod plays an active role in shaping Unboundary’s thinking and its work for clients.
Tod is a TED conference member, and founder and organizer of TEDxAtlanta, for which Unboundary is one of three organizing sponsors, with the Metro Atlanta Chamber and Turner Broadcasting. He also serves on the boards of We Are Family Foundation and Atlanta Celebrates Photography.
A native Georgian,Tod was born and raised in Albany, GA and graduated from the University of Georgia. After a brief stint in NY, he has lived in Atlanta for 26 years. Prior to Unboundary, Tod was an SVP at BBDO Atlanta.
