Innovative ideas, relentless execution and a knack for making something out of nothing are what set Tierra Brown apart from her peers. Leveraging these qualities with nearly 20 years of marketing communications experience, she’s transformed brands in the healthcare technologies, energy and municipal industries. While most of her work is done behind the scenes, you may know her from the re-brand of the AFRAM festival, National Cherry Blossom Festival partner campaigns or the reopening of Shake and Bake Family Fun Center. Tierra has produced award-winning creative and digital campaigns for her clients and prides herself on making industry-level marketing services and techniques obtainable for small and minority-owned businesses. Tierra is a proud Baltimore City resident with a passion for storytelling. This is evident in her role as the Chief of Marketing for Baltimore City Recreation and Parks. When she’s not working, she can be found traveling (has visited all but two continents), parenting her Pomeranian or being part of the community she serves.

Tia Nicole Newton is an award-winning multidisciplinary Graphic Designer and Art Director from Baltimore, Maryland. Currently based in her hometown, she is experienced at developing and executing dynamic digital and print campaigns for highly visible and influential brands with over 11 years experience. She is especially passionate and thrives at creating dynamic content and visual strategy for people of color. Tia has worked with a diverse range of clients including Overbrook Entertainment, Andre Walker Hair, AirBNB, Creme of Nature, Esteé Lauder, The MoMA, and the City of Baltimore to mention a few. She is a graduate of University of Maryland College Park where she received her B.A. in Sociology and also completed two Master’s programs at Academy of Art University and University of California Berkeley
