I help women who are killing it on the outside with successful careers but it’s killing them on the inside with burnout and health challenges. I’m a breast cancer survivor who learned the hard way the impact of sustained burnout. Now I’m passionate about giving people permission to rest and teaching them how to do it.
I live in Denver, Colorado with my amazing husband, two wayward mutts, three cannibalistic goldfish and a cat that drools. When I’m not helping my clients get amazing results, you’ll find me beating back the pet hair that threatens to overtake my home and my sanity.
In the “Untapped Power of the Nap,” you’ll learn the scientific benefits of napping (including how naps boost productivity and improve performance) and discover the best practices for the ultimate napping experience. The best part? After the presentation, you’ll get to experience the power of the nap yourself! Bring your blankets, eye masks, and whatever makes you feel relaxed, and get ready to hit snooze. You’ll hear a soothing visualization to help you turn off your brain and have 20 minutes to doze off. Come for the power nap, and leave with the power to chase your dreams.
About your Host Catherine Peters is a public speaker, professional transformation coach and breast cancer survivor who knows first hand the power of rest to transform and heal us. She helps people who are tired, worn out and totally over it to redesign their lives, rediscover their mojo, and finally start living with passion and purpose. Catherine lives in Denver, Colorado with her amazing husband, three wayward mutts and a cat that drools. When she is not helping her clients get incredible results, you can find her beating back the pet hair that threatens to overtake her home and her sanity.
This is a more traditional format where participants absorb information through presentations and talks.

The FieldTrips experience is defined not only by what the host has to share, but also by how we show up individually and collectively. The way we show up impacts our capacity to be moved, inspired, and activated.
Get ready to be immersed! Engage with smiles, nods, waves, emojis. Share in the chat. Get cozy. Turn off notifications. Sip your favorite beverage.
Wear your beginner’s hat. Go with the flow. Welcome the stumbles and fumbles. Congratulate yourself for trying. Keep going!
Our hosts are members of the CreativeMornings community—just like you! Everyone comes to this with different backgrounds—a lot of our hosts have never done anything like this before! And we love that! Cheer them on when something goes awry and when it goes perfectly.
We’re all figuring things out in real time. Celebrate, rather than critique emerging ideas. Cheer each other on as you try new things. Try “Yes! And…” in conversation.
It’s 100% okay when a FieldTrip does not resonate with you. Pop out quietly and try another experience later. Fill out the survey with your feedback (no dms to host or chat commentary, please.)
