🧘 The Reset: Yoga, Meditation and Community Sharing

Long Island City, 11101

About this Club

The Reset is a space to pause, breathe, and reconnect with yourself. Through yoga, meditation, and shared reflection, we’ll explore ways to find steadiness within no matter what’s happening around us.

Take time to learn to be present with yourself, to listen, and to care for your inner world before stress and overwhelm take over. When we come together, we learn from our own experiences and each other’s journeys.

No experience in yoga or meditation needed.

✨WHAT TO EXPECT

✔️ Each session is centered around a theme and unfolds in three parts:
✔️ Part 1 - Movement: 45 min of beginner-friendly vinyasa yoga.
✔️ Part 2 - Meditation: a 15 min guided meditation centered around the theme.
✔️ Part 3 - Community Sharing: a chance to reflect, share, learn, and connect with others.

🎒WHAT TO KNOW OR BRING

✔️ A yoga mat and water are all you need!

✔️ Wear comfy clothes you can move in and sit on the floor with. Layers are nice since you might warm up during yoga and cool down during meditation.

🍿 BYO SNACKS

We keep Clubs as free as possible to make sure anyone can attend. YAY! And… as a result, club hosts are carrying a lot of the financial weight of something like SNACKS. We know that snacks make any gathering so much fun… so we’re trying something new.

👋 If you’re a snack fan, and you’d like to contribute, please bring a snack to share with your fellow Club goers. Nothing fancy. Just something that delights you. That’s it. See you there!

⏰ CLUB START TIME

We offer a 10-minute “Window of Arrival” time where you can get settled, share snacks, sign in, and chat with one another.

👉 For example…If your Club start time is 1:00pm Expect to get things going around 1:10pm.

👉 We offer this flex window because we know folks are coming from many different places around town. With that said, please try your best to arrive before 10 minutes past the start time as the activities will be getting started then!

ABOUT YOUR HOST

Hi! I’m Andy. I am a yoga and meditation teacher and creative maker. By day, I work as a Course Developer at Berklee Online. What drives me is showing people that yoga and meditation aren’t about perfect poses or emptying your mind completely. They’re about getting curious about yourself and developing a kinder relationship with who you are.

I see this club as more than a one-off thing you attend now and then. I want it to become your regular spot. A place to show up with whatever’s going on, good, bad, or somewhere in between, and connect with yourself and others who are figuring it out too.
