What are Virtual FieldTrips?
FieldTrips are meetups to interact, learn and collaborate in an effort to level-up your creative life. Built on top of our 20,000 monthly attendees at CreativeMornings talks, FieldTrips are community-organized events built on the spirit of generosity that has powered CreativeMornings events for the past 10 years.

The Power of Storytelling with Pop-Up Magazine
June 4, 11:00am - 12:00pm EDT. Hosted at FieldTrips on Zoom
About this FieldTrip
Pop-Up Magazine, the acclaimed live magazine that sells out grand, historic venues across the country, is premiering our first-ever online show — the Spring Issue: At Home on Wednesday, May 27 at 6pm PST/9pm EST. The show brings never-before-told stories to life with intimate, funny, moving performances; stunning video, art, and animation; and an original score. We’re bringing the unique, inventive magic of a Pop-Up Magazine performance to this moment we’re now living through — together and apart.
Exclusive FieldTrips Q+A
The week after the premiere, we are hosting an exclusive FieldTrip experience where participants can join Contributor, Mohanad Elshieky (comedian and writer, Full Frontal with Samantha Bee), Story Producer, Anna Martin (Pop-Up Magazine), and Roseli Ilano, Director of Community + Partnerships (Pop-Up Magazine) for a discussion about the power of storytelling. We’ll explore what key ingredients make certain stories unforgettable and moving. We’ll share what our north star has been as we transition from the live stage to the internet. Participants can ask questions about the Spring Issue: At Home, and learn about audience engagement strategies in the non-fiction storytelling space. Be prepared for a fun and inspiring conversation that will spark ideas you can take back to your own work.
