About the speaker

Emma Gannon is a digital consultant, broadcaster, lecturer and author. The former social media editor of British Glamour, she has an award-winning blog and has been published everywhere from the Telegraph to Teen Vogue. She mainly writes about technology and millennials trends and has written about changes in the workplace for Glamour and the Guardian.

Emma’s “Millennial memoir” CTRL ALT DELETE: How I Grew Up Online was published in July 2016 by Ebury Press. Her podcast ‘CTRL, ALT, DELETE’ discusses work, social media and careers and features guests such as Lena Dunham, Gillian Anderson, Elizabeth Gilbert and Zoella. It has reached almost 1million downloads.

Emma is about to deliver a TEDx talk about online identity. She’s also featured in BBC’s No Small Talk series, a new kind of talk-show aimed at young women, filmed in 360. She’s a regular digital lecturer at the Conde Nast College and runs workshops on building your own brand at places such as Cheltenham Festival, Shoreditch House and Google.
