Jenn & Steve are innovators in the field of health and wellness and the co-founders of Pause+Expand. They use left brained corporate and coaching techniques coupled with right brained sound & meditation practices that foster a deeper alignment between mind and body, resulting in quick, effective and dramatic shifts and forward momentum. Their background in sound design and ability to live stream from their sound studio has made them a leader in virtual sound bath experiences. Pause+Expand virtual sound baths are as powerful if not even more than traditional live experiences. They also host a weekly Meditation Club where members can join them live 3x per week on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday to prepare for their day ahead. Meditations take place from 8:30-9am EST.

About this FieldTrip

Sometimes we just need a break to unplug from our day - from our computers, slack messages, emails, work meetings and family commitments. Believe it or not, our ability to take intentional breaks and actually slow down allows us to move faster, further and with greater purpose and clarity later, especially on those days when we feel like we have major creative blocks, are feeling unmotivated, or that there’s too much to do and not enough time to get it done.

Join us for a **45 minute immersive experience where we’ll help you take a much needed break to disconnect from your devices and your to-do list and reignite your creative flow and inner calm. We’ll use the power of a sound bath and guided meditation to allow you to de-stress, slow your mind, and re-energize your mind and body (and maybe even help you harness a few new inspiring ideas!)

✹WHAT TO EXPECT

✔Curious what a Sound Bath is? A sound bath is a meditative experience where you are “bathed” in sound frequencies that help your brainwaves to slow down. These waves are produced by various sources, including healing instruments such as gongs, singing bowls, chimes and tuning forks, all to help your mind slow down and your body move into a deep state of rest, called the Delta State.

✔There are incredible benefits of a Sound Bath, some of which include: Improved clarity, creativity and focus, Ability to feel more connected to yourself and others in your life, Reducing stress and anxiety, Improved sleep, Strengthening your Immune system to prevent illness

✔There’s absolutely no previous meditation experience necessary, just bring your curious mind, a journal and a pen. These experiences are designed for anyone and everyone - From those who have a regular practice to those who have never meditated or experienced a sound bath a day in their life!

🎒What To Bring

✔Please be sure when you dial into the Zoom meeting you’re somewhere free from distraction and have headphones that can plug directly into your computer (it’s best to not dial in from your phone to avoid technical issues). You will be asked to sit or lay in a comfortable position during this experience, so get cozy!

How to make the most of FieldTrips

The FieldTrips experience is defined not only by what the host has to share, but also by how we show up individually and collectively. The way we show up impacts our capacity to be moved, inspired, and activated.

Show up fully

Get ready to be immersed! Engage with smiles, nods, waves, emojis. Share in the chat. Get cozy. Turn off notifications. Sip your favorite beverage.

Stay curious

Wear your beginner’s hat. Go with the flow. Welcome the stumbles and fumbles. Congratulate yourself for trying. Keep going!

Celebrate your host

Our hosts are members of the CreativeMornings community—just like you! Everyone comes to this with different backgrounds—a lot of our hosts have never done anything like this before! And we love that! Cheer them on when something goes awry and when it goes perfectly.

Support each other

We’re all figuring things out in real time. Celebrate, rather than critique emerging ideas. Cheer each other on as you try new things.  Try “Yes! And
” in conversation.

Not vibing?

It’s 100% okay when a FieldTrip does not resonate with you. Pop out quietly and try another experience later. Fill out the survey with your feedback (no dms to host or chat commentary, please.)
