Stewart Butterfield

Stewart Butterfield is an entrepreneur and businessman, best known for co-founding the photo sharing website Flickr, before becoming an expert tin-smither (inside joke, Google it).

Flickr was actually an off-shoot of a massively multiplayer online role-playing game called Game Neverending, and Stewart has once again entered this space with his new start up Tiny Speck and their online game Glitch.

UPDATE: the online game Glitch was also shut down due to a number of issues, but spun off the internal instant-message-based team communication tool Slack.
