To speak to this, we're welcoming Steve MacKenzie, Co-founder & Chief Design Officer of PopKey and Co-Founder & Creative Director at Teknision to this month's CreativeMornings Ottawa stage.

Design has been a passion of Steve’s since he was a child. With a formal education in graphic design, he now specializes in creating world class user experiences for IOS and Android apps. Building upon three years of graphic design experience, in 2001, he branched out on his own to found an Ottawa based design and development company,www.teknision.com. With a hand-picked team of software and design specialists, he led a broad range of innovative design projects including designing the Blackberry Playbook user interface and creating Chameleon, an Android launcher that was funded with kickstarter. In 2013, Teknision was acquired by Synacor and he then went on to create the world’s first animated GIF keyboard,www.Popkey.co. Today, PopKey has over a million downloads and we’ve partnered with some of the worlds best known brands including Nike, Starbucks, Lexus and Redbull.
