Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Nothing* (*But Were Afraid to Ask)
What do you know about nothing?
As the universe is full of it, it's worth knowing something about it. What is meant here is the actual nothing, i.e., the empty space of vacuum, in other words the abscence of something.
Stefan Lausberg will talk about some WONDERs of the world and the fascinating universe that surrounds us by taking a close look to atoms and stars and the empty space between them.
Stefan, born in 1979, studied physics in Heidelberg, Dresden and Sendai (Japan) after military service and having completed an apprenticeship as mechatronic in a drop forge.
Having completed his PhD in solid state physics, he started working at the company Leybold in Cologne, a producer of vacuum pumps. So basically Stefan earns his money with nothing.
