About the speaker
Rev. Katherine Lee Baker is an ordained minister in the Reformed Church in America. She attended Princeton Theological Seminary with continued coursework at Jewish Theological Seminary, New Brunswick Theological Seminary, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, and Loyola University Medical Center. Having served in various parish, clinical, campus, corporate, and non-profit ministry settings (on the East Coast and in the Midwest), she is passionate about community engagement, intersectionality, and all things cultivating emotional agility and spiritual resiliency. She is a trustee for the Foundation at Mary Free Bed, a board member for the Women's Resource Center Propel Campaign, and the co-founder of UrbanGirlGR; and currently providing executive leadership and strategy for the Sankofa Hospitality Group and the Southwest Detroit Immigrant and Refugee Center as well as the Manager for Diversity and Inclusion at Meijer.
