Spencer Phillips is our CreativeMornings May speaker on the theme of ‘Preserve.’ Spencer is an ecological economist working to help people better understand, communicate, and act on solid information about the value of the environment for the sake of better earth stewardship. With 30+ years in policy-oriented research and non-profit leadership, he has recently founded Key-Log Economics | Vietnam as a social enterprise to extend that work in south and southeast Asia. He is interested in learning from others, developing partnerships, and informing the conversation around environmental policy. Before moving to Hanoi, Spencer founded Key-Log Economics in the U.S., and previously served the cause of conservation at The Wilderness Society, NorthWoods Stewardship Center, and the White House Council on Environmental Quality.
