The breath is the most vital process of the body. It influences the activities of every cell and it is intimately linked with the performance of the brain. Learning to become aware of your breath, control your breath, and maximize your breath has the potential to heal the body as well as provide ultimate wellness to your mind, body, and soul.

In this FieldTrip, we will explore one breathing technique that is particularly important for cleansing the lungs, strengthening the nervous system and toning the digestive organs. This breath is called Kapalbhati, which translates to skull shining breath. Kapalbhati is a cleansing breathing technique, believed by the ancient yogis to bestow radiance and a glowing face to its practitioners.

About your Host
I’m a Registered Yoga Teacher with over 500 hours of professional training in Hatha, Vinyasa and Ashtanga yoga and a wellness advocate with a love and curiosity for the ancient wisdom practices. Over the last decade, I’ve traveled and lived overseas to further develop my understanding of holistic healing. My goal is to inspire others to live a more wholesome, healthy lifestyle by sharing all that I’ve learned on my personal wellness journey.
