Shannon Wiedman

In the past five years, Shannon has kicked cancer’s butt—not once, but twice—claiming it as her greatest accomplishment to date. As if that wasn’t exciting enough, last fall, Shannon and her husband took a bold leap into hospitality by opening the Starbird Lounge, a tiki-style cocktail bar in Moorhead.

Though she’d happily spend all her time bellied up at the Starbird, Shannon is a Product Designer by day, with over a decade of experience crafting beautiful and user friendly software. Throughout her career, she’s developed a passion for leading creative teams and fostering creativity within those she works with.

In her downtime, Shannon enjoys unwinding by a campfire, spending quality time with her husband, Adam, and their two dogs, fostering through the local animal rescue, or diving into her latest hobby—raising chickens in Stardew Valley.
