About the speaker

Rubens Mukunzi is a a journalist and founder of Karibu News, a multilingual, immigrant, and refugee-focused newspaper that works to integrate the refugee and immigrant population in Buffalo with the rest of the community. Born and raised in Rwanda, Rubens came to Buffalo in May 2013 and works to be a bridge between refugees, immigrants and citizens.
