Sarah Outland

Sarah Outland is a kid and tech researcher and a sociologist based in Chicago. She’s the Lead Design Researcher at GET Cities, an initiative to accelerate the representation and leadership of women, trans, and non-binary people in tech. Previously, Sarah was a PhD candidate at UChicago, where she spent two years as an honorary teenager, studying tech equity in a high school. Sarah grew up in a farm town in the Midwest, where she spent her days dancing on a propane tank and climbing trees. She's intensely curious, energetic, and an always-advocate for edge cases.
