About the speaker
Remijon Pronja (b. 1984, Tirana) is a visual artist working across installation, painting, video, and drawing. His practice explores themes of migration, homesickness, cultural translation, and the human condition, often interrogating the contradictions of belonging and the symbolic negotiations of identity.
He holds an MA in Fine Arts from the University of Milan and has exhibited internationally, including at the Queens Museum (New York), Ludwig Museum (Budapest), National Gallery of Kosovo, ZETA Gallery (Tirana), and Museo Pino Pascali (Italy). Pronja lives and works in Tirana.
Pronja lives and works in Tirana. He also holds a Ph.D. in Architecture and Urban Planning from the University of Ferrara and Polis University, and is the author of several publications and conference papers addressing urban identity through art.
