About the speaker

💻 Not available to attend in-person? Then register to watch our Livestream instead! See you online!

Join us on May 29th for a unique Release Day event! 🎉

Ten members of our NYC community will be invited on stage to share the creative project that they’re releasing.

Each presenter will have 2 minutes and up to 3 slides to share their process.

Join us to cheer on your fellow New Yorkers!

Our MC will be the creator of Release Day, Sam Furness from Creative Quests and we'll be hosted at Newlab.

What is Release Day?

Release Day on May 29th is a collective deadline. People all over the world will be launching a passion project on the same day!

So, even if you're not presenting on our stage, you can release a project too! It can be big, small, polished or imperfect. Release Day is a motivating moment to say, “Here it is.”

Additional details

Originated by Sam Furness and Creative Quests, Release Day is a global celebration of putting your ideas out into the world. It’s designed to help you move past overthinking and finally share that special thing you’ve been working on. By releasing together, we create momentum, accountability, and a shared sense that we’re all in this together.

Accessibility: This venue is wheelchair accessible, with a ramp at the front entrance and accessible restrooms.

We are striving to improve the inclusivity of our programs and are seeking accessible venues to partner with to host our events, as well as captioning and ASL interpreter volunteers. If you can help with any of these, please send us an email at nyc@creativemornings.com.
