About the speaker
Instead of one speaker this month, we have 10 people presenting their passion projects for this special Release Day event!
Come cheer them on and get inspired by the incredible creativity in our city!
We're inviting the Austin community to get motivated by Release Day 2026 and finish a project that has been on the “back burner” for too long. Now is the time to use our collective deadline—May 29—to get. it. done.
What you launch into the world is up to you! It can be polished or imperfect. It can be really big (launching an app or publishing a book or announcing an event) to really small (crocheting a baby beanie, sending a letter to your long-lost childhood friend, or finally organizing your closet) and everything in-between (planting that garden or making a funky mailbox or starting your substack).
10 members of our Austin community will release their projects live on stage!
What will you release on Release Day?
Even if you're not presenting on our stage at this event, you can still release your creative project on Release Day - along with thousands of other people around the world!
See all the details and sign up to participate on our site here.
And when you release your project on May 29th, it will be featured on the CreativeMornings site in our global Release Day gallery!

Armadillo World Headquarters was Austin’s most legendary music venue—and a whole lot more; today it’s a social enterprise turning that legacy into real support for artists, venues, and the shared creative culture that still brings the city together. (Including the musicians featured at CreativeMornings/Austin each month.)
