In this session I will present you with different approaches to reflecting your ideas.

Most of us know that in order to make a big leap or reach the next level, we sometimes need to stop and reflect on what just happened in order to decide potential next steps. However, many have never learned HOW TO reflect in an effective and structured way. I was often approached with “try out journaling, it’s the best way for reflecting”. I tried it and I didn’t like it. For quite a few years I believed that I was doing something wrong until I realized that writing my ideas down is simply not the best way for my brain to reflect. Each brain works differently. Some prefer writing, others prefer silent thinking, and again others have completely unique approaches to reflection. Once you have found your personal best way for reflecting, you can really unlock your full potential. In this session I will present you with different approaches to reflecting your ideas. In an interactive exercise you will get the chance to exchange your reflection approach with like-minded people and get some inspiration for your own reflection practice.

About the speaker

My name is Sabina Lammert. I am biochemist and neuroscientist by training; however, I chose an alternative career by switching from being a project manager in the biotech industry into coaching and consulting of individuals, teams and entire organizations.

My focus is the improvement of communication and collaboration by changing my clients’ perspectives more towards an agile or new work approach. In order to reach this objective, I share my knowledge of specific agile or new work methods, or I coach my clients to use their own wisdom for finding the solutions for their current challenges. My business partner Anna Wörner and I create a unique workshop experience through using live flipchart visualizations and serious games to make even tiring topics like strategy workshops or risk analysis workshops as fun as possible.
