Tanya Moushi is a no-code specialist and Squarespace Authorized Trainer. With more than 15 years of experience, she’s built three businesses, prototyped more than 100 ideas and launched hundreds of websites for clients around the world. She’s also a formal advisor for HUUB, an entrepreneurial partnership with cities throughout Arizona, to provide guidance to small and mid-size business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs. In her new book, Love is the Business Plan (and other unconventional ideas), she emphasizes that business is not just a tool for income, but a tool for impact.

About this FieldTrip

No-code tools have changed the game for how quickly we can bring an idea to life.

We’ll discuss why it’s important to get your idea out of your head and into the world by prototyping with an easy-to-use website builder. We’ll go through the core components of an effective but simple business website including which sections to include, what ideal call-to-actions (CTAs) to use, and how to optimize your SEO organically.

You’ll walk away armed with the knowledge and benefits of prototyping, and a base to launch your idea into the world.

✨WHAT TO EXPECT

✔️Define Prototyping: What actually *is* prototyping? We’ll start by defining key terms and discuss the benefits (and importance) of prototyping using no-code tools.

✔️ Decide and Do!: We’ll move on to the basics of what every good idea needs and decide on what to prototype together using group input for a model project.

✔️ Build the Base Structure: Using auto-layouts, we’ll get a head-start with a base structure for our idea and use native components to create the look, feel, and ideal call-to-action.

✔️ Design a Single, Powerful page: You’ll have 15 minutes on your own to explore the process of building on Squarespace.

✔️Share Your Idea!: We’ll separate into small breakout rooms and (if inspired) you’ll have an opportunity to share your progress!

✔️ Keep Going: You’ll receive tools and resources to launch your prototype into the world.“

How to make the most of FieldTrips

The FieldTrips experience is defined not only by what the host has to share, but also by how we show up individually and collectively. The way we show up impacts our capacity to be moved, inspired, and activated.

Show up fully

Get ready to be immersed! Engage with smiles, nods, waves, emojis. Share in the chat. Get cozy. Turn off notifications. Sip your favorite beverage.

Stay curious

Wear your beginner’s hat. Go with the flow. Welcome the stumbles and fumbles. Congratulate yourself for trying. Keep going!

Celebrate your host

Our hosts are members of the CreativeMornings community—just like you! Everyone comes to this with different backgrounds—a lot of our hosts have never done anything like this before! And we love that! Cheer them on when something goes awry and when it goes perfectly.

Support each other

We’re all figuring things out in real time. Celebrate, rather than critique emerging ideas. Cheer each other on as you try new things.  Try “Yes! And…” in conversation.

Not vibing?

It’s 100% okay when a FieldTrip does not resonate with you. Pop out quietly and try another experience later. Fill out the survey with your feedback (no dms to host or chat commentary, please.)
