About this FieldTrip

2024 is almost here and you may be asking yourself, “How the heck am I supposed to get all of this done before the end of the year??”

In this FieldTrip, you’ll be guided through prioritization activities to help you make a realistic plan of action for the rest of your 2023 tasks. Tasks related to work, business, and/or personal activities are all welcome! Work/life balance can seem even more chaotic during this season, so we’ll take into account all that’s going on for you through the end of the year.

If prioritization or time management aren’t your thing, I highly encourage you to attend! We’ll make it fun, approachable, and manageable.

✨WHAT TO EXPECT

✔️ We’ll set some end-of-year intentions. What word or feeling do you want to meditate on for the rest of this year?

✔️ We’ll take inventory of what’s already on our calendars. Dinners. Birthdays. Holiday parties and events. Work meetings. Planning sessions. The whole shebang.

✔️ We’ll prioritize our tasks based on pre-existing deadlines and goals, highlighting our most important to-dos based on our commitments and values. We’ll break down these tasks into more manageable, bite-sized pieces to avoid overwhelm.

✔️ We’ll see what else we can squeeze in (or if squeezing is even something we want to be doing!)

✔️ You’ll walk away with a strong (and flexible) plan of action to help you finish the year strong (and with less anxiety); and a simple prioritization practice you can take with you into the new year.

🎒WHAT TO KNOW OR BRING

✔️ Please have your digital or physical calendars handy, as we’ll be referencing them at the beginning of the session. If you already have a task list handy, bring that too!

✔️ You’ll also want to bring something to take notes with. If you’re a Notion user, there will be a digital workbook available for you to use if you’d like. You can sign up for a free account here: https://www.notion.so

How to make the most of FieldTrips

The FieldTrips experience is defined not only by what the host has to share, but also by how we show up individually and collectively. The way we show up impacts our capacity to be moved, inspired, and activated.

Show up fully

Get ready to be immersed! Engage with smiles, nods, waves, emojis. Share in the chat. Get cozy. Turn off notifications. Sip your favorite beverage.

Stay curious

Wear your beginner’s hat. Go with the flow. Welcome the stumbles and fumbles. Congratulate yourself for trying. Keep going!

Celebrate your host

Our hosts are members of the CreativeMornings community—just like you! Everyone comes to this with different backgrounds—a lot of our hosts have never done anything like this before! And we love that! Cheer them on when something goes awry and when it goes perfectly.

Support each other

We’re all figuring things out in real time. Celebrate, rather than critique emerging ideas. Cheer each other on as you try new things.  Try “Yes! And…” in conversation.

Not vibing?

It’s 100% okay when a FieldTrip does not resonate with you. Pop out quietly and try another experience later. Fill out the survey with your feedback (no dms to host or chat commentary, please.)
