About the speaker
Tim Bremner is a creative director, designer and artist based in Oakland California. Since 2001, Tim has been creating small and large art in his free time and many of those pieces have appeared at the annual Burning Man festival. In 2016 and 2017, he was the lead artist on La Victrola, a 35 ft tall Art Nouveau gramophone sculpture and performance space. Most recently he designed and concepted the Hive Man Base Pavillion, the centerpiece of the 2023 festival.
Tim’s other recent artistic endeavors include designing the latest record cover for Grammy winning Grateful Dead drummer Mickey Hart as well as helping curate rock concert promoter Bill Graham’s visual archive into an apparel line. He holds a BFA degree from Washington University in St Louis and has worked as a creative for Gap, Banana Republic, Levis, Gymboree, See's Candies, Walmart and now Marine Layer.
