About the speaker

Pete runs Tom Pigeon, a creative studio he founded with his wife Kirsty Thomas in 2014. Based on the East Coast of Scotland, the studio designs simple, crafted and affordable things, made with care to be enjoyed, as well as taking on creative commissions and consultancy work.
Before Tom Pigeon Pete spent 16 years working with Uniform, a creative consultancy he co-founded in Liverpool and more recently he taught design at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design in Dundee. He has exhibited work at SXSW in Austin, Texas, London Design Festival, Il Compasso di Latta, La Triennale di Milano and The Design Musuem, London.
