In a personal and insightful talk that spans issues from drag to identity and community, multimedia artist Oskar Kirk Hansen (also known as drag queen Mystika Glamoor) tackles the theme of Radical. Oskar discusses how he came to confront his fears and begin performing in drag, what led him to run Edinburgh’s Greenwood Kafe and the unexpected needs this safe, sober space has ended up fulfilling for the city’s queer community. Along the way, he gives valuable thoughts on creative expression, resilience and the power of transformation.

Oskar Kirk Hansen is a multimedia queer artist, and the curator and co-owner of the Greenwood cafe. Greenwood is an LGBT+ friendly cafe and art space for all ages and identities.
Oskar has performed as his drag alter ego Mystika Glamoor for over three years, under which he hosted his own weekly cabaret show and got to travel the world.
He has turned the Greenwood into a safe, sober space for the local queer community, giving a platform to local artists and providing an area of connection during troubled times.
