Grace McCarter is a content designer, writer, sunshine addict, spin class lover and reformed people-pleaser based in Meanjin, Brisbane.
She writes words that shed light 💡 and lift heavy 🏋️ — drawing on her background in product design and brand storytelling to cut through complexity and create meaning where it matters.
These days, she leads content design at Linktree, shaping experiences that are clear, kind and useful.
Grace cares deeply about the invisible work behind our words: the ethics, the nuance, and the care. She believes that language is how we treat people at scale – and that words can change the world!

WHAT TO EXPECT: - 7:30am: Doors open! We’ll welcome you in, check your name off the list, invite you to grab a free coffee, a breakfast bite and fill out fun, thought-provoking name tag.
Arriving from 7:30am means you’ll be able to soak up the coffee, the brekky and the community of brilliant creatives - what CreativeMornings is all about!
8:00am: Your host will jump on the mic + introduce this month’s speaker, who’ll share enlightening tales and fresh perspectives on this month’s theme! Coffee wraps up, so be sure to order one before 8am!
Q+A: After the talk, we’ll open up the floor for questions for our speaker! So ask awayyy!
9:00am: Bye! You’ll leave fuelled with inspiration, connections and coffee!
THE VENUE: The ForeFront is in Hamilton, with plenty of free, close-by parking. It’s about a 10-minute walk from the ferry terminal and a 20-minute walk from the nearest bus stop. The venue has a ramp entrance and internal lift, and you can always contact your CM Host if you’d like us to reserve front or ground row seating instead of seating in the stairwell.
THE THEME: Our theme for August is NOMAD. It was chosen by our Ulaanbaatar chapter in Mongolia and illustrated by Oyuna Bold.
Some people feel compelled to travel from place to place. To live outside the confines and constraints of a permanent address. Others have no choice but to leave home in search of a better life. A nomad embraces discomfort and welcomes the unknown.
Whether you’re racking up frequent flyer miles or navigating a change in your creative career, remember that motion fuels imagination. Wander. Wonder. Repeat.
