Softness is not weakness, it’s the courage to be vulnerable

About the speaker

Nammy Sirur is a speaker, coach, podcaster, and storyteller helping immigrant professionals and emerging leaders overcome cultural and communication barriers so they can show up with confidence, clarity, and authenticity. An immigrant herself, she envisions a world where accents are celebrated, belonging fuels confidence, and misfits rise as leaders.

Before becoming a keynote speaker and corporate trainer, Nammy co-founded The 9to5 MisFits, a YouTube channel that grew into MisFit Communications, a storytelling-driven video agency whose work helped Fortune 500s and startups land $50M+ contracts and scale nationwide.

She now hosts the podcast Thoughts Between Shots and created Accent Unmuted, a live event series with NPR affiliate KUT that amplifies immigrant voices and challenges accent bias. A longtime Toastmasters leader, she also runs Conversations Club to help immigrants practice cultural fluency and confidence through dialogue.

In addition to her storytelling work, Nammy has performed as a professional Bollywood dancer (during NBA halftime shows!) and proudly holds the title of “Best Dog Mom,” though her dog Larry may disagree.
