Ms. Gwendolyn D. Reese is the President and CEO of Peaten Reese Peaten Consulting, Inc., providing professional development and consultation services. She is also the President of the African American Heritage Association of St. Petersburg, which preserves the rich history of the area through the African American Heritage Trails. Her work is dedicated to creating positive change, serving on several boards and councils, including the Voice Heard Voices Matter Bloomberg Harvard Equity Group and the Commission to Study Structural Racism in St. Petersburg.
Ms. Reese has been recognized for her leadership and tireless advocacy, receiving the 2015 MLK Leadership Award and the Key to the City of St. Petersburg, among other honors. Her decades of activism have significantly impacted the growth and preservation of the community.
