About the speaker
Jess is an active member of the Grand Rapids community, volunteering for multiple arts organizations and building a business dedicated to bringing creativity back into the lives of busy adults through team-building experiences as well as community events.
Derek is a Creative Director in Grand Rapids, MI. He works across brand, type, web, and codingâbuilding identity systems, designing interfaces, and writing efficient front-end code. His big focus is on clear ideas and durable solutions, and almost always staying hands-on from concept to launch. As OneMohrTime Design Co., an independent design and development studio, he'll collaborate with startups, cities, nonprofits, and in-house creative teams. Other than work, he likes to travel internationally, and meet strangers with wine in hand.

John Fenton is the Executive Director of the AllArtWorks Foundation, where he leads efforts to expand access to world-class art through free community programs, youth initiatives, and artist support. With a background in arts leadership and community building, John has helped connect thousands of people to creative experiences while supporting hundreds of artists across West Michigan and beyond.
