About the speaker
Mignon Francois is the Founder and CEO of The Cupcake Collection (aka, TCC). While crunching numbers and “creating the craze” are among her job requirements, her favorite responsibilities are giving hugs, listening, and mentoring her team & other up-and-coming entrepreneurs.
Using her “Follow Your Spirit” approach, Mignon has developed an iconic flavor that draws lines and attention to the Historic Germantown neighborhood. The success of TCC has become the icing on the cake for a neighborhood that now has many restaurants from some of Nashville’s best chefs. Mignon and TCC’s success helped to attract some of these businesses, which might not otherwise have considered opening up in North Nashville.
Since planting her roots in 2008, Mignon has earned several epic superlatives, including “Woman of Legend and Merit,“ “Emerging Business Leader of the Year,” and most recently Black Enterprise Magazine’s “Family Business of the Year” Award. We are thrilled to welcome her bubbly spirit and words of wisdom to the CMNSH stage this month!
As a premier talent & solutions firm, Vaco connects people to their dream jobs and helps leading companies find talent to grow their businesses.
Zeitgeist is one of Nashville’s best contemporary art galleries. Featuring talented artists across all mediums from the Southeast and around the world for over 20 years.
Grand Palace is a screen printing company in Nashville, TN focusing on hand-printed merchandise and memorabilia, primarily t-shirts and posters.
Note: this is Center 615 on Gallatin, not Studio 615 on Broadmoor. Same company, 5 miles apart. Careful! Regular attendees will remember this as the place where we heard from Sam Smith back in June, and also the last place we had cupcakes. Foreshadowing?
