What are FieldTrips?
FieldTrips are meetups to interact, learn and collaborate in an effort to level-up your creative life.
We’re limiting these events to only 25 people, they’re like an intimate dinner party. Your absence will be felt so please make sure that you can definitely attend if you sign up. Also, we’re in the prototyping phase, so come with an open mind and be prepared for anything.
Thanks for participating! We’re lucky to have you.
Meet Sharks and Co-Work at the New York Aquarium
March 28, 1:00pm - 3:00pm EDT. Hosted at New York Aquarium
About this FieldTrip
Like co-working? Like sharks? Like co-working WITH sharks? Well, then: join the New York Aquarium for a tour of the Ocean Wonders: Sharks! building. Learn about the sharks that live just off our coast, talk about conservation efforts we can all take to help our ocean neighbors, check out the amazing things that the Wildlife Conservation Society does to save wild places around the world, and take some great photos for Instagram. Then, spend some time co-working in our rooftop classroom, with sharks, rays and other fishes as your new colleagues.
Attendees are welcome to stay after the FieldTrip and keep working until 4pm.
About Your Host:
Ethan has been doing fun things in the culture sector for over a decade - he was formerly the Creative Director for Museum Hack, where he had the chance to help make museums even cooler around the globe. He’s been helping develop the interpretation program for the Aquarium’s Ocean Wonders: Sharks! building, and is excited to share neat deets about fish with other creative types. He’s also friendly with the keepers, knows most of the shark’s names and might even tell you a few Aquarium “secrets”… if you’re nice.
