Maximillian Kaizen is an educator, researcher, and big fan of tinkering. Chiefly fostering happy relations between humans and machines.
By day, Max is a partner and executive creative director at the Ogilvy Digital Marketing Academy. Developing learning courses, hackathons and masterclasses to infuse thrill, mastery and experimentation with the tools, cultural practices and strategies of the digital world, within the agency and for big brands.
She is the Public Lead for Creative Commons in South Africa, a global organisation that develops and supports the practical copyright and intellectual property tools for content creators to safely share their works, for faster innovation and richer human culture. She champions the protection of digital rights like universal Internet access and freedoms, open-education and open-science.
As co-programme director of Business Acumen for Artists at the University of Cape Town’s Graduate School of Business, Max lectures, guides and develops the concurrent mentorship program for one of the most innovative business school programs, that since 2008 has truly changed lives and fortunes.
