About the speaker
In March 2010, Mark Raheja left Cabbagetown for Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn. It was the first of many changes to come – including getting married; losing a parent; becoming a parent; being named a partner in one business and, then recently, co-founding a new one. That new venture is called August, a transformation consultancy focused exclusively on the subject of purposeful and responsive change, in organizations.
In recent years, Mark has designed and led change programs for some of the world’s leading organizations – including American Express, GE and PepsiCo. For fun, he’s also recently workshopped a new course in Responsive Organization Design with students at CEDIM (Monterrey), Harvard and Yale. Mark lives in Brooklyn with his wife Amanda, their daughter Maren – and plenty of neighbors who apply oils to their beards and make their own pickles.
