Makayla Binter

Makayla Binter is a creator, organizer, and catalyst based in Charlotte, NC. Originally from Upstate New York, she moved to North Carolina to earn her degree in Biology and Studio Art at Davidson College. Upon receiving her master’s degree in Urban Design from UNC Charlotte in 2022, she applied her knowledge to create and curate creative activations for partners and businesses such as Converse, Ally, TD Bank, Adobe, the Carolina Panthers, ACC, Sierra Nevada, and the Charlotte Hornets.

She paints on canvas and murals using acrylic paint and spray paint, customizes clothing items like hats, jerseys, and shoes, and completes digital drawings of various sizes for installation purposes. She works for Charlotte Is Creative as the Communications Catalyst, where she hosts events and creative experiences, project manages, develops proposals, and manages social media accounts.
